How to create more than one disk on your pc

Welcome back guys ! I think you read my first cyber security tutorial. Hope you got some useful information from it. OK, now let's jump into our topic. How to create more than one disk on your PC? It is also called creating multiple partitions but I'm writing these posts using simple English. We don't need that big words !

What is creating more than one disk on a computer ? (Or creating multiple partitions ) Picture describes anything which can't describe in 1000 words. So here is a image so you can understand it more clearly.

Now you saw what I mean. If you did let's start this process. If you didn't just follow my steps and you will see what happens.😉

• Go to search and search for " Create and format hard disk partitions ".
• Now a window will open. Right there choose C: (Any disk you want. But you must choose the disk with more space. But you can choose other disks too👍 ) and right click on it. Choose shrink volume.

•  Right there choose how much MB you want to add to your new disk and click Shrink.
• It will take few seconds. Then you will see a new partition like this.

• Right click on it and click on " New Simple Volume ". Then an installation wizard will appear.

• Click Next until you get Finish. Oh ! and also pay attention to the window before click next. At some point there is a option to change your disk's letter. If you want you can change it. After you click finish you are done ! Now you can see another disk in your computer.

If you need to remove a disk follow this steps

• Go to the same window and right click on the disk you need to remove.
• And select Delete volume. Then again right click on the disk and select Delete partition.
• Next add it to one of your disks. First right click on the disk you need to add this Unallocated space. If you choose C: right click on it and select Extend volume.
• Next the Extend wizard will open. Click next until you get Finish. Then click Finish.
